[We interrupt this program to bring you a special newsflash]
Smudge was adopted from New Moon Rabbit Rescue here in Ottawa, Canada.
If you think a rabbit may be for you, look for a rescue group in your area — they’re full of awesome people who care deeply about what they do, and who work hard to give bunnies a loving home. And if you don’t know what having a rabbit as a pet entails, they’re also a great source of information on the proper care of bunnies.
All three of the furry dudes we have in this house will have a home with us forever, and we do what they need to be healthy and happy. They did not ask to be part of our lives — we chose them to be part of our family, and there’s no-go-backsies.
So this might sound weird but can't hurt to ask. Your cat looks so much like my kitty. I saw the pics on cute overload and had to come ask! Did you by any chance adopt him from a pet smart/last chance adoption drive in virginia? Ours was one of three kittens and I've always wondered what happened to his brothers. Again my apologies at this sounding very crazy cat lady, but I thought the similarities were striking! I have pics on my website, allawesomethings, search 'oreo' or 'oreo sweater'
Oreo is super cute! We’re all Canadian here though, so I think he and Relic are just cowcat cousins. :)
This reminds me of my own bunny lily. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any cutie animals to hang out. She is now at my parents house. Her best friend is me. I miss her so much.
I’m sorry your bunny is lonesome. I’d miss Smudge a whole lot if I was separated from him too (Smudge would not miss me as long as he got attention and was fed by someone). I hope you get reunited with her.
